The reverse of the coin features a marvellous Dragon inspired by ancient mythology. In asian cultures, dragons used to be associated with the water element. Ancient greeks saw dragons as wise and mighty guardians of treasures, whereas in christian world, these fantastic creatures were identified with evil forces. On the bottom of the reverse, the inscription: "DRAGON" - the name of the coin. The obverse of the coin depicts the effigy of Her Majesty Queen and the inscriptions: “NIUE ISLAND” – the issuing country, “ELIZABETH II” – the name of the Queen, “2 DOLLARS” – the face value, “2020” – the year of issue and “Ag 999” – the purity of the Silver.
